with a discussion to follow and Donna will be sharing her story with us.

In Monroe County, 68,000 adults and 12,000 children are uninsured. In the US, 47 million people are uninsured, and 22,000 of them died in 2006 due to lack of health care coverage. Then there are the millions of us who are underinsured, and every year getting less coverage at a higher cost. In our country, health care is not a basic human right, but an industry that puts profits before people.
Every American could enjoy good quality, comprehensive health care --and save $350 billion a year--if Congress passed HR676, Medicare For All. Join us as we rally to let the invited local, state, and federal representatives and candidates know we are serious about comprehensive reform of our health care system.
