ENVIRORAMA

Envirorama is a local event that is part of the national environmental education event- "Focus The Nation". This date also coincides with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester’s public policy weekend for which the advocacy issue is Global Climate Change.

Doors open at 11:30 am.
Keynote Speaker from noon to1pm.: “The Latest Facts and Projections on Global Climate Change”- Scott Cicora was trained in The Climate Project, a program developed by former VP Al Gore to inform citizens about the realities of global warming and the actions required to fight this crisis.

Interactive exhibits will follow between 1 and 3pm. These hands on demonstrations cover a range of environmental actions and children's activities designed to be informative and fun!

This is a family friendly event with child care available during the speaker’s presentation. (handicapped accessible: call for disability information- (585) 235-3340. )

National Council Churches of Christ Eco-Justice Programs

The Eco-Justice Programs office of the National Council of Churches works in cooperation with the NCC Eco-Justice Working Group to provide an opportunity for the national bodies of member Protestant and Orthodox denominations to work together to protect and restore God's Creation.
